I do not understand how a company can be allowed to charge me for an additional 30 days for a service I have asked to cancel. The Rogers TOS, http://www.rogers.com/cms/pdf/en/TOS_Eng.pdf, item 31 states:

"you may terminate all or any part of your Services upon no less than 30 days advance notice by contacting Rogers at the appropriate points of contact specified in these Terms"

This is a very good reason not to have automatic billing to your credit card.

I would not stand for this. You can call your credit card company and tell them to reverse the charge because you did not authorize payment. If it's visa or mastercard, the'll easily reverse it. I've had to do that with Disney's ToonTown, who kept charging me three months after I cancelled, yet called them after every month and told them to remove the charge.

You specifically canceled service within the allotted time and you did your part. I would also go to planetfeedback.com and submit a complaint to Rogers. They usually have someone specifically monitoring letters from there and you bypass any of the department heads.

Good Luck Phil.
