So my answer will be really, open ended as well. If you care to leave more detail we can help you further.

There are lots of businesses that you can start with little to no investment. Selling personal services, is one that can be done very cheap. From being a Runner (someone who runs errands) to a lawn man, to a life coaching consultant. Service based businesses are very inexpensive to get started. The issue you have there is that you The problem there is that there is no growth opportunity, there is only one of you.

Product based businesses are a little more difficult to get into, because you typically need up front capital, but again, it's not unheard of to be able to sell products.

There are 2 ways to do this relatively inexpensive. You can be an affiliate reseller, which you only make commissions on products sold. This is great for selling electronic goods like ebooks and strategy guides. Then there is dropshipping, which if you google dropshippers you basically set up a store front and offer their products for sale. This means you do the customer service, and get people to buy from you. Once you sell their products, they are responsible for the execution and logistics of the order. This is a two way street because you're at their mercy for any issues that arise logistics wise and can be a customer service nightmare. But again, you can find places where you can dropship for like 200 bucks for a large catalog of products that you will sell.

Then you can read some of the other answers on here about promoting and marketing and how to leverage that to get clients.
